SASEhack 2020 presents a Guest Speaker Presentation from Dave Chen on "Using Technology to Help Public Authorities Fight COVID-19"
Dave Chen is a Director of Engineering on Google Play and Google Play Services and has worked in tech for 20 years. He leads a tooling and infrastructure team to improve engineering productivity and increase quality for 2+ billion users.
Dave is passionate about coaching and training the next generation of leaders and is a faculty member of the Google School for Leaders. He has filed several patents.
Prior to Google, Dave has held positions at Yahoo!, Lockheed Martin, and a startup. At Lockheed, Dave participated in the Engineering Leadership Development Program (ELDP). Dave has been profiled in The Atlantic magazine.
Dave has an MS in Computer Science from Johns Hopkins University and a BS in Computer Science and Engineering from Ohio State University.
