Health Technology
THE CHALLENGE TOPICS:
*You may select up to 1 challenge topic. You do not have to have a solution that covers both topics.
- Contact Tracing: How can we better identify people who may have come into contact with an infected person? Use open data sources to develop a solution that would improve contact tracing efforts to help prevent or slow the spread of a virus. Consider how data and technology may be used to help the public community stay safe or help health officials further limit potential exposures.
- Remote Healthcare: How can we make health services more accessible and affordable? Develop a solution that would make obtaining medication, treatment, or non-surgical care easier for individuals. Consider how technology can be used by both patients and/or healthcare professionals to ease the process of obtaining and/or providing a health service.

Eligibility
1) Participants must be high school or college students at the time of the event -- undergrad or grad. During check-in on Zoom, participants will be asked to fill out a sign-in form that asks to submit proof of student status.
2) Teams must have at least 3 members and at most 5 members.
3) All teammates must have pre-registered for SASEhack through SASENC2020 registration as well as on this Devpost.
4) Hacks must have started at SASEhack. Any prior work may not be used at SASEhack, but prior ideas are welcome!
Requirements
Develop a hack that addresses one of the two challenges outlined above!
Software hacks are highly encouraged to develop for SASEhack 2020 as we are unable to provide resources for hardware-based projects due to our virtual environment.
NEW 2-TIER JUDGING SYSTEM
Pre-screening: 10:00pm - 10:30pm ET

Teams will pre-record a demo and include it in their Devpost Submission for viewing in the Project Gallery.

Pre-recorded videos must be no longer than 3 minutes.

During Pre-screening, our judges will view and evaluate the submissions.
Virtual Live Demonstration in Zoom: 10:30pm - 11:30pm ET

The top 6-8 teams will move on to live demos and anyone can tune in on Zoom to watch.

Presentation Time will be a total of 7 minutes.

Pitch your project within 3 minutes! Devpost accepts links to YouTube, Vimeo, or Youku. Videos may be recorded through external platforms such as Zoom, MS Teams, or additional recording platforms that your team sees fit. Please take into consideration recording/edit time when allocating time to your project and submission.

The platform allows you to upload one file. However, you may combine your files into a single ZIP file if you so choose.
